RESULTS OF AGROWORLD QAZAQSTAN AND COLDCHAIN QAZAQSTAN 2025: STRENGTHENING INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND NEW GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX
FROM OCTOBER 29 TO OCTOBER 31, 2025, THE 19TH CENTRAL ASIAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION AGROWORLD QAZAQSTAN 2025 AND THE 9TH INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION COLDCHAIN QAZAQSTAN 2025 WERE SUCCESSFULLY HELD IN ALMATY, ON THE TERRITORY OF THE ATAKENT EXHIBITION CENTER.

These events traditionally confirmed the status of the largest business platform in Central Asia, bringing together leading domestic and foreign producers, suppliers and specialists in the agricultural sector, as well as professionals in the field of cold logistics and storage of products.
The high status of the audience is confirmed by the participation of representatives of government agencies, industry associations, representatives of agribusiness, farmers, scientific institutes and specialized media, including 2,152 experts, heads of agricultural enterprises, production facilities and distributors conducted effective networking with farmers and agrarians from more than 20 countries. Visitors noted the high level of organization and usefulness of business meetings. Elena Chernyshova, Director, Feed Trade LLP , shared her impressions: "This is an excellent platform where you can meet with partners, exchange experience and discuss new opportunities for cooperation. We definitely plan to visit the exhibition next year."
The 2025 exhibitions were a vivid reflection of the steady growth dynamics and growing interest in the development of the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan. 174 companies from 25 countries took part in the exposition, which presented a wide range of innovative solutions - from crop and livestock production technologies to automated irrigation, processing and storage systems for agricultural products. Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Hungary, Germany, Georgia, Denmark, Israel, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Latvia, the Netherlands and others. Traditionally, the national stands of Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, as well as regional expositions of China and Russia were presented at the site.
Regular participants of AgroWorld Kazakhstan note the importance of the exhibition as a key platform for the professional development of the agricultural sector and the exchange of experience: "We have been participating since the first year of the exhibition and believe that our presence here is mandatory. AgroWorld is a strong platform for interaction, exchange of experience and annual renewal of our professional potential," Azamat Baidavletov, Metzer Kazakhstan.
33 companies took part for the first time, which indicates the progressive expansion of the geography of participants and the growing confidence in the Kazakh market on the part of the international business community. Debutants of AgroWorld Kazakhstan noted that participation in the exhibition was an important step for them towards the development and expansion of business ties: "For our company, the AgroWorld exhibition is the development of the industry, obtaining new contracts and declaring ourselves as a company that began its existence in 2025 in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. We are participating for the first time - for us this is a big impetus and potential in terms of making ourselves known and finding new potential partners," Alima Zhakupova, KMK Kazakhstan, shared her opinion.
International cooperation occupies a special place in the structure of exhibitions. The long-term cooperation of the exhibition with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which is a key strategic partner of AgroWorld, has been strengthened and further developed. In 2025, 28 Dutch companies took part, of which 14 presented a national exposition - exhibitors demonstrated modern technologies in the field of poultry, livestock, crop production, energy-efficient production, digitalization and sustainable agriculture.
An important event during the exhibition was the signing of a Memorandum between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands on October 30 - on mutually beneficial cooperation, exchange of experience in the field of poultry farming, the introduction of innovative solutions and the training of qualified industry specialists. This document marked a new stage in strengthening interstate cooperation and the formation of new areas of professional partnership focused on long-term development and increasing the efficiency of agricultural production.
A rich business program held within the framework of AgroWorld Qazaqstan and ColdChain Qazaqstan 2025 included thematic sessions, expert discussions, specialized workshops aimed at considering strategic issues of the development of the agro-industrial complex. Particular attention was paid to the topics of rational use of water resources, infrastructure modernization, introduction of digital and energy-efficient technologies in the agricultural industry, as well as the development of sustainable agriculture in the context of global climate change.
The key event was the Plenary Session "Main Issues of the Agro-Industrial Complex in Central Asia: Challenges and Partnerships", during which representatives of government agencies, international organizations and the private sector from 4 countries discussed the current challenges of the industry and ways to solve them. The focus is on the transformation of the agro-industrial complex, attracting investment, expanding export potential and forming strategic partnerships.
In particular, the School of Dairy Farmers, in partnership with DairyNews Today, provided participants with the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest developments in the field of herd management, process automation, genetics, feeding and animal health "Dutch Solutions and Innovations for Your Poultry Business", organized with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kazakhstan and the Dutch Poultry Centre.
The AgroWorld Qazaqstan 2025 and ColdChain Qazaqstan 2025 exhibitions once again confirmed the role of Kazakhstan as a center of business activity and innovative initiatives in the agro-industrial sector of the region. The results of 2025 have shown that the exhibitions not only contribute to strengthening international cooperation and the exchange of experience, but are also becoming an important tool for promoting advanced technologies that increase the competitiveness of the agricultural sector.
Visitors stressed that the project has become an effective platform for establishing international relations: "During the exhibition, we got acquainted with new Dutch and Belgian companies, and also established contacts with representatives of Kazakh business. We hope that these meetings will result in successful cooperation and give positive results," said Sultan Yesenbek, Secretary General of the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan.
